As quilters we do have a lot of 'stuff'. Your room doesn't really look that small. I have my sons bedroom for my sewing room, and it is a small room as well. But so glad to have a sewing room. The best advice I can give for a small room is to keep the clutter down. If it doesn't relate to quilting, out it goes. If we realllyyy don't need it, and don't have the room, don't buy it. Use the fabric you have before buying more, because a stash can take up a lot of room.
Organization, organization, organization.
I love your high shelves they hold a lot of stuff, but also looks like a place for clutter. Using containers and organizing items around different sewing areas helps sewing go smoothly and not always looking for things as we piece.
Happy Sewing!

Awesome. Love your sewing room and the machines. I see you are like me. making use of all your small space. I use "Best Press" also. The "Sew-aholic" picture; is that Maxine the cartoon lady by Robert Kaufman. The birdhouse curtains look fabulous.
