    Nice to have your own space. I like the term 'holding area'! Will have to remember that.

    Very nice. I took over my son's old room, too. But, I still have his bed in there. Sooner or later I have to get rid of it & make room for more sewing/quilting stuff.

    Someday I will have a room to myself. Right now we have the revolving door and the kids keep leaving and then returning!

    Really like that holding area. There's always something that can't be put away yet for some reason- great idea! Your room is so organized and bright.

    I'm wondering what took 9 years. I took over corners of three bedrooms in about no time. Of course, it was just corners :-) and I did have to give back the spaces eventually......they came home with families! Hang on to yours if at all possible!
