Saw someone buying orange paint the other day at Home Depot. I thought, what would you possibly paint orange? Now I know. I love the orange in your sewing room. Never would have thought to use orange on the walls. It is really cheery.

We painted it about 6 years ago when I was in Nursing school. My theory was that if I had to spend hours studying, I wanted to do it in a bright and cheery room. Not in a cream colored room. DH said he was not taking any credit for the color. He was not a fan, but did assist me. Cant tell you how happy it makes me when I'm sewing, cutting or simply on the computer! Still absolutely LOVE it!

I'm in NY, so I was not aware of any Texas connection with the color.
