Thanks so much for sharing your room. It is so neat and orderly and inviting. Sure would not like anyone to see mine right now.

I like the way you've organized your sewing room. It looks like it would be very comfortable to work in.

Great room, good pictures that showed many good tips for making a more work-friendly place ...
I read all through the thread to make sure that I didn't repeat anyone's comments, but everyone mentioned things I noticed, so there is nothing left to say, except!:
You also shared "how-tos" all through the thread so that all of us can enjoy the same good ideas. Thank you for sharing everything! <wave>

I wonder, how do you like having your sewing machine out away from the wall? I have often thought of doing that too but wasn't sure that I would like it.

I love it that way, never could stand sitting and looking at wall, I have a glass door in front of me so I look at my garden when im in there.

Nice view for you! I am in a farm house. My quilting room is 12' x 17'. Sloped walls. I love the cozy feel but no walls to store on. The one window looks out over the farmland! My "small" window that is behind my sewing machine looks out over the driveway. I am always re-arranging the room. It is also a "guest" room with a bed and dresser. Would love to get rid of both but once in a while someone does spend the night. I will post photos of my space. Need to pick it up!

I luv being away from the wall, and luv looking out the window once in a while. If I have something big that I am working on, I usually put a regular ironing board on the left side of my table for extra room for the quilt to rest on while I am sewing it...The room isn't always that neat of course.LOL I cleaned it up for the picture..Ha, Ha.
