Marcia....good eyes..yes this is a curtain rod and on that is the clip rings that are for the round circle things you sew on curtains...didn't like how hard they were to push so I found these clippy things with magnets on them that are real easy to open and don't leave to bad pinch marks l hope the pictures are close enough for you if not I'll try again oh I found these at the dollar store :D

THANKS I love it!! The close up pictures are great and I am definately going to have to steal your idea. This is just one of the reasons I love this board-there are so many great ideas out there and you are all so willing to share yours. Thanks again!!!

I am going to surprise all of you and make all of you envious with my sewing room!

Er, that is when I set it up.

I like to sew with my mom. So, I throw everything in the car and drive up.

But, I have a basement that after some overhauling will be my new sewing room.

But, that's months away. In the meantime, I'm admire how you make the most of your space and keep organized. You're a real pro!

Love that curtain rod and clips idea! I use pant hangers with the clips to hang strips on, but that is only 2 clips. This idea is way better!

mgshaw....I use the hangers too... now they have the squeeze kind that are real nice to use...I use mine for my blocks that are on hold...works nice huh.. :D

    Cordelia... Janstar... Barbm...
I don't come out of my room to often...I even have a radio,T.V. and dvd, vhs, cassette and cd players and my computer is a spin away from my sewing machine 8) ....just need the coffee pot and a snack jar oh yeah I got that  and yeah a potty chair...ha ha  as for the bolts of fabric...don't let them fool ya...whenever I buy more than 3 yds...I ask for the bolt and when I get it home I roll them up on the cardboard....now some is almost or is a full bolt... cause I went to a sale and the price was right and bought the whole thing...well I use the fabric on the back of my quilts... so sometimes that will take 9 yds...depending on the size....so girls don't be to envious...I'm just making it look good
