if you do not want to do piano key then cut up square or rectangles and piece together to make your outside border.Put the black as a 2 inch innder border fora stopping point and forsome pop to your quilt.

Ditto. i don't think I would add another color to the border. Just black. About 4 inches. Do a scrapy binding. That would look nice.

Your shoo fly's look great. You have been a busy girl. :D

It is fab-u-lous girl!!! I love the black for border. I always think of the border like a picture frame around your art. The black frame is perfect for this "art". Another border of scrappy would be great too, if you have the fabric.

Bev that's gorgeous!
Shoofly was the first block I ever did. Made a table center in a hand quilting class and was hooked on quilting.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks..... Should I go with Black OR White for border.....

Sorry just getting back to this, I misread your first post, thought you said black AND white not black OR white. I think the black because you have such a mix of bright colors that the black makes a good nuetral. I love black with brights!!!
at first i thought dusty rose, but figured it would get lost. i like the black. it kinda evens it out

 I'll be chomping , too. I hadn't posted my opinion, but I was thinking that black or white would not be the way to go. But -- I DO like the black And the scrappy border along with it sounds like it would be really nice. By the way, your blocks are great !!
