My sister-in-law is learning to quilt!!!

Here are pictures of the two quilts my Sister-in-Law made this summer with me. She used to sew beautifully so I didn't think it would be hard for her to start. She is using her Mother's Singer Featherweight. We lost Essie last fall. So enjoy her new start to quilting!!!!!!
She lives one the lake year round and enjoys her loons here in MN.
She also loves the Quilt Minnesota fabric, this was last years!!!!

Quilt Minnesota is a Shop Hop for the whole state. Every Quilt shop can participate and the state is broken into 4 sections. You can earn prizes for going to the whole state or just sections. It is great fun and the fabric is only sold in Mn. But they ususally sell out. Great for the shops and the state. Love this year's fabric, it looks like old fashion signs for MN. It has been advertized in quilt magazine and there is a web site. Hope this helps you understand the Quilt MN now.
