Tears of surprise and joy that is: Look what she gave me today. I had joked with her about not making a quilt for me, she came to mom's house today and we always have show and tell when we get together. She showed me this beautiful quilt she made and I was awed by it, she had quilted it with sewing machines, needles, bobbins, spools and scissors. My daughter said oh look at the tag mom and it was for me!!!!!!!!!!!! Then the tears flowed.........

Wow! How cool is that? I made a wall hanging quilt for my brother and SIL, it's been well over a year and never been hung. I suspect it's still in the box, in a closet at their house. Wish I could have it back.

I love her quilting patterns! What a special gift. You're lucky to have such a wonderful sister--I only have a brother, and he's kind of a dud!
