Thread: For my son, a U of I fan

    This is not my favorite quilt but I know my son will love it. He has wanted me to make a U of I throw for a while and I just couldn't come up with a pattern I liked. When you try to find fabric there aren't a lot of choices there either. So here it is. I need to make him a pillow case with left over pieces. Another UFO completed.

    that is cool. He will love it. Thats the same colors as Idaho state football team. So at first I thought you might be talking about U of Idaho. hehehe Great job

    great job he will love it, nice for a quilt and pillowcase and are you going to make him some pillows with that fabric

    No, I didn't I had originally wanted to do a chief in the middle but have you ever really looked at the emblem a zillion feathers to applique. I didn't think I could do it. I have several appliques
    projects coming up on my list and maybe I'll try one on a pillow when I get more confident.

    Great job! The sashing complexity really makes it different from the norm.
