I got this done and off the frame today! Still have the binding to do and I believe I will use the marbled black backing fabric for the binding.

This is a dense panto and it took 10 rolls of the quilt to get it done. It just seemed never ending! It's kind of hard to see the quilting pattern in pictures.

Thanks all... maybe I'll have the energy and will to get it bound tonight. Or at least get the binding ready. :)

Love it love it love it!! And I LOVE that fabric collection! I ordered the FQ bundle a long time ago with a few other pieces from the collection and KNEW I needed more as soon as they came, then when CT had their cyber Monday sale, I missed it! I went back to order some more after, but their stock of yardage didn't have the prints I wanted and they didn't have any sampler kits left...So I ordered two different quilt kits JUST to get more yardage of the prints I wanted!! haha

It's a fairly easy pattern to piece but I think the hardest part is evening up the length of the rows. It wants to stretch and get wonky. Maybe that's why there is almost always a strip between the braids. :)
