Necessity is the mother of invention and you proved it by making your own ruler to make what you wanted....beautiful, and makes me embarrassed as I have the wedge but never made the table runner...now I will pull some fab and make one for holidays.....

Looks beautiful and I like your colors. Rulers for 1 project seem too costly for me as I normally make one 1 to try patterns.

your project is marvelous. Regarding template material, just read in a quilting mag. that floor tile is good for this and is thick and reusable. Don't know myself, but worth a try.
