As a stained glass artist who morphed into quilting, this is a magnificent piece of art. It just goes to show that one medium is not necessarily the only medium in which to express beauty. I love your choice of fabrics, the colors emit so much light and life that it truly looks like the sun is coming through. Congratulations on a fabulous quilt and your wonderful sense of light and color and design.

Thank you kindly for the sweet comments! I have enjoyed making this quilt. I would love to make more stained glass quilts in the future.

That's a beautiful piece of art. I have done several wall hangings using the fusible black bias. I too stitched one edge at a time, the machine I had at that time refused to sew with a double needle. Really not sewing one at a time.
