What a neat idea to incorporate the star spin in a quilt, I just love your colors. I've always wanted to do one of these pattern, but didn't know how to use with a quilt, vs. another wall hanging. I truly like yours, it's beautiful.

I have been searching different variations of this quilt patter for months now. I love your idea of using the small flower border print to draw colours from. I also really like the log cabin blocks in the border, instead of more spinning stars. I'd really appreciate knowing what size your Log Cabin blocks were, unfinished. Of course, that only helps me if you used the same pattern that I have for the centre. Did you use the Oregon Treasure, 1988 pattern? Thanks for the ideas. I'm going to start fabric shopping for it this weekend. :-)

Yes, I believe that's the same pattern. "#124 Star Spin Quilt or Wallhanging". The copyright is 1988.
The finished squares were 7", unfinished 7 1/2". Good luck!
