I adore this quilt!!!! Is it a pattern? If it is, could you tell us the name of it and who made it? I would love to make one like it. Yours is beautiful!!!

For those interested, the original pattern is from the November, 2013 Annies Quilt & Sew catalog. I happened to find it on their website as well. Page 7 if you have this catalog.
The original pattern is to make a wall hanging that's only about 35" square. Since I wanted it to be a quilt to have out at Christmas time, I knew my blocks needed to be larger. The main part of the pattern is 16 blocks wide and 17 blocks tall. I cut my blocks at 3.5" square to finish at 3". That was only going to make the quilt be 48" square. I added two additional rows of background squares above the star and an additional row of green to the tree. To that, I also added a 3.5" strip of the snowflake fabric along with an additional row of left-over 3.5" squares. My finished size is 60" X 72". Just wanted something cute to have out for Christmas, not as a bedspread or anything.

Great job with scraps! I agree with the others on the look of the tree but I particularly like your choices of color in the background. Bring out the hot chocolate and snuggle with a smile. Well done.
