Thanks Maggie, It was lots of fun to put together. I made it completely mindlessly and just took the strips off the way they came to me. Check this one out, I made these quickly this last weekend.

Is there a tutorial on how to do the strip quilt? It looks simple, but I'm sure there is a technique to it.

Go to search and type in super fast jelly roll quilt. This is a great tutorial.

The fabrics are gorgeous - look like Kaffe Fassett and Martha Negley - both favorites of mine.
    Love how you used them

I don't think you could go wrong putting any of his fabrics together and I had read that the more simple the design for these fabrics, the better. Planning the next with diamonds. Makes it easier on me and love they way they turn out.

What a nice thing to say. I'm thinking I'm better and a little more apt to finish a quilt if it is one of these more modern patterns. Needed a break from regular blocks, cuz I've got lots of that stuff I need to finish. Sometimes, I don't think I'm quite "all there", if you know what I mean.

Just think how colorful it will be after the batting and back, So nice of you to comment, thanks so much ! I ordered the "light" colors of jelly rolls and just opened them and started, didn't even mix them up. I have had bouts of depression in my life and color is how I deal with it!! [
