    My take on Mexican Stars

This was so much fun to do and taught me to enjoy hand quilting - sorry, no close-ups!!
The pattern is available from Southwind Designs and is #SWD-303.

Beautiful quilt. Congratulations on the hand quilting. I used to hand quilt but now machine quilt and long arm. So many projects, so little time!

Oh gosh it looks so great, I bought the pattern about 2 or 3 years ago at a quilt shop after seeing it on the wall. They had to mail it to me and there it sits I am not sure what is wrong with me but could not get it going or something. Maybe now will pull it out and take it with me to TN when I go next week. Thanks for sharing maybe its the kick in the butt I needed its so beautiful.

Love it - it's a pattern I'm still on the fence about; looks hard.
