For those of you working together on the Jane Stickle quilt enjoy every minute - even the ones where Jack the Ripper is involved. I had to recut and made 2 whole blocks.
My quilt is for MY bed. It's 105" square and has 6061 pieces, not counting the backing and binding for the scalloped edges. The corners on the outside border are pictures of a cowboy and/or his horse and dog. Saw the fabric at the Tyler quilt show and thought "there's my corners for second row". I'm thinking the binding will be a navy (small) print because the bindings always seem to show age first.

I love your quilt. I'm from Texas too and my future son-in-law attends A&M. He's majoring in mechanical engineering. I made him a A&M rail fence quilt and he loved it. Our A&M boys and girls are very special to us down here in Texas.

Betty, I wonder how hard it would be to talk Gangles into doing some hand quilting on your Tx. Jane. lol.

Ditto Bettye re you amazing Dear Jan in only 5 months. I'm looking forward to seeing how you quilt it.

Klue - long time no hear! After studying the Houston 2nd Place Dear Jane, I can only say, 'What could have possibly taken First Place?"
