My Thanksgiving and Christmas table runners

I saw this twister Christmas wreath tutorial on here a while back. Sure appreciate it because I never would have gotten it together without it! Also couldn't resist pic of my son who is so proud of his gold metal for Special Olympics in bowling today. Thank God for Special Olympics and all who give and volunteer!

Great runners, especially love the one with the prairie points. Really sets it off.

Tell your son we are all proud of his hard work at bowling! He must have done a great job to have gotten a ribbon!

I am going to have to try that twister pattern, does it waste a lot of fabric? I like them when I see them so have to get it. Your son looks happy, that is great. I have never bowled, he should be proud of himself.

Great job on the table runners! Your son looks so happy with his medal. Special Olympics is a wonderful organization. I volunteered for many years in various ways, coach, fundraiser, chaperone, etc. It is probably the most humbling and fulfilling thing I have ever done. Those athletes are amazing.

I love the photos of the runners and your son, you can tell he is very proud of himself and he should be! I have a special needs adult child and he really loves bowling too. Sounds like those two need to hang out for a while so my son can get some pointers from yours, I know Chase would love it!

Wow a gold medal in bowling, he has a right to be proud, tell him that's wonderful! He must be a good bowler. I also like your table runners, looks like your tables will be decorated nice.

Your quilts are wonderful, and your son is, too. My daughter died 8 years ago at age 23. She was born with a cleft lip and palate and was diagnosed at age 18 with a form of autism (Asperger's disease) but unbeknownst to us, she evidently also had a heart condition that was undetectable. I'm so glad she went to a very good college (Grinnell, in Iowa) that gave her the support and friendship that built confidence and a feeling of worth for her. I'm sure Special Olympics does the same for your son.
