Gorgeous. Love you color scheme! I'm sure she will, also. I'm from Kansas - but I'm not a vet so guess it isn't for me. If she doesn't like it she can forward it on to me.

Default Love the colors

Always love to see other color choices, and then when I like them they go on my "bucket list" this is one of them...good job.

Don't worry for a minute about its being too garish. It is lovely, and your friend will, I'm sure, love it.

Hi stitchin...well really glad you liked it and I have heard so much about Kansas from my firend over the years- we now get to Skype each other and hold up our embroidery and now my quilt projects! its gas to see us thousands of miles away and being able to see each others stuff in real time. My friend lives in Hutchinson and she has been very good to us over they years..so I wanted to make this for her as a thankyou for being my friend. I will tell her to forward it on if she doesnt like it
I am so heartened by the positive support from you all, I love to look at other peoples work and it really helps me to see how powerful quilts are. I love putting different colours and textures together- I think thats my arts side, but I have a way to go yet with pieceing and putting together, as I get impatient and want to see it finished NOW lol-thats when my sewing gets uneven, so am learning to be patient and complete each part as best as I can. Thanks again everyone. Lois xx
