My three finished quilts.

The first is a queen size (88x102) sampler made from Maywood Studios Fabrics. I used the same quilting motif for the pieced blocks, a different design for the setting floral blocks, and freehanded the hearts in the sashing. The second picture shows the true colors of the quilt - the sun was shining through the first picture.

The second quilt is a free pattern from Hoffmann called TradeWinds using all Batiks. I added another row to the length so it wouldn't be square. This is for my son-in-law who loves orange. It measures 60x66. I used an all-over panto design for the quilting called swoops and swirls.

The third quilt is a basic Chevron, all Batiks, that I made the finished HST @ 5" and the overall size 68x78. The second picture shows my first attempt at ruler work. Needless to say I've got a long way for improvement. It doesn't show up (a good thing) but the borders are quilted with several sizes of circles (rulers again). This is for my other son-in-law that likes blue.

Those are all beautiful (handsome for the guys?). You've had some busy hands!

Joyce, they're really beautiful. I like your aesthetic sense very much. Orange, in particular, is tricky to pull off and you made it look rich and elegant with your color combination. Brava!
