    So glad someone who appreciates quilts rescued it. It makes me sad to ponder how many of mine will end up there once their usefulness is gone. Like you, wish there was a story behind it............a reminder to all of us to label our quilts and maybe the reason for gifting.

    Yes it is sad, I to often wonder about all mine. I don't know how many of you remember Stewy from the board, he has kept 6 of my quilt tops and won't return them, several are hand embroidery so there lost forever. He did quilt three for me and there terrible, stained and more. Breaks my heart I'll never get them back and they can't be replaced but do wonder what he did with them. I treasure my quilts and if I receive one as a gift, it's even more special.
