A UFO that is done is WONDERFUL, no matter how badly YOU think the quilting is. I think it looks wonderful. Congratulations on finishing a UFO and on the fact that your daughter loves the quilt!

My quilter teacher always tell me that if a man on a horse runs past at 50 ft he would never seen any mistakes. Just remember it is your quilt - mistakes or not. And it is beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lovely quilt, so sorry you are not pleased with it. Even making the Drunkard Path blocks is not easy. (I'd probably remove the "not so neat" machine stitches & replace them by hand.)

I love the colors in the quilt also - I can see why she wanted you to finish it. I make a lot of mistakes in my quilts and I always tell the person on the receiving end that if they see any mistakes that it was done on purpose.

I think your DD is a better judge than you! I don't see any goofs at all; only a beautiful quilt!

If your daughter liked it then there are no mistakes. Just enjoy that she loves it.
