Love your quilt. I too, embroidery squares to include in quilts. I cannot start the quilt until all the squares are done. I'm a one at a time person. But I do embroidery when I have another quilt in progress. It gives me a "change of pace" activity.

Very pretty. I wish that "finish before starting another" was as catchy as measles. I'd like to get that disease.

This is such a great setting for these embroidery patterns. I think I may have to use your Quilt idea for my embroidery blocks. 😄p

I'm terrible on starting new projects before the old one is finished. Hence, a multitude of UFO's. But, this is the year that I am trying to finish as many as possible. I have a goal to try to get 10 quilts long arm quilted this year....
I have adopted the Wanda Hansen (Exuberant Color blogger) new project permission granter and it really is helping me get through a pile of UFOs. Wanda is amazingly productive and disciplined generally, but recently came up with the practice of allowing herself to start anything she likes after first setting the kitchen timer for one hour and working on a UFO until the bell rings. She's reporting making great headway.

LOVE LOVE LOVE I really admire you for finishing what you started before starting another. I can't quite get the hang of that....ha. Love the tip about working one hour with a timer on a UFO before doing something new.
