I followed THIS great tutorial at In Color Order to make this quilt using a set of FQs from an older Sandy Gervais collection and mixing some other fabrics from my stash. My theme for 2014 is "Sewing for the Seasons" as I love to decorate with handmade items and this is my 1st big finish. I tend to collect pretty seasonal/novelty fabrics and leave them sitting in my stash closet.
It is also the largest top I have quilted myself (64" x 75") on my Juki 2010Q and I'm pretty pleased about that! The 2nd photo is highlighted to show the quilting and my favorite fabrics. The 3rd photo shows my Valentine's Day decor which is really brightening up my mid-winter blahs!

I am so glad you posted this quilt! I love it in all those shades of red. I made a "Plus Sign" quilt last year and am waiting to quilt it. Love what you did with the 1/4" quilting. That is what I am going to do with mine too, after seeing yours.
I like all your projects and the sleepy cat too!
