Sometime in the future I hope to organize my quilt photos... In the meantime, I was in the mood to post photos of the quilt I made for a grand nephew about a year ago.

I used a Thimbleberries pattern called, "7 - 8 Lay Them Straight." Traditionally Thimbleberries shows darker, muted colors. I liked the pattern, so I just used brights instead. I also adjusted the pattern down a bit so it ended up smaller. The quilt is 48 x 60.

I had it long-armed with an all over panto of sailboats, dolphins, and clouds, which just seemed fun.

My niece was thrilled, and says she and her son used it for floor play all the time. Of course, now that baby is walking, the quilt gets used in many different ways!

I love your fabric choices. I'm not a huge fan of Thimbleberries. Great work!

Beautiful and bright. I love Thimbleberries and have several books by Lynette Jensen. I have made several quilts out of them, always change colors to what I like.
