My version of a log cabin quilt

My inspiration for this came from Jenny at MSQ Co. (the 4th of July jellyroll was one of her daily specials) and I watched one of her on-line demo's for doing a log cabin quilt. The rickrack added to the binding was an idea from a quilting friend who demonstrated this at a mini class given at the local quilt show last summer. I think I'll snuggle under it up north this summer as we watch the fireworks!

That is a very different layout of the log cabin. Don't think I have ever seen that design before. Good job.

    Great addition

The little touch of red around the inside of the border really stands out! It reminds me of tiny flying geese. I like the quilt a lot too Great job!!
