After completing an oversized quilt in January I needed a new quick and easy project preferably using my stash. Here is a picture of the pattern and my interpretation in batiks. It's a fat quarter friendly pattern and I only had to purchase the outer border fabric.

Your version is so so so much better than shown on the pattern picture. Good for you to be able to "see" the pattern underneath the example. the batiks are awesome!

The colors in your version is better. It has some of my favorite colors. I often make changes to the colors in the pattern.

Your selection of batiks really harmonized the pattern. I love batiks.

I think my quilt has enough movement in it so I won't need to add the applique... I can now just move on sandwiching and quilting it.

Beautiful! Love the colors. Well, I am going to have to add that pattern to my collection, as well. Thanks to this board, I am now spending a lot of money on individual patterns rather than books. Now, I only buy books featuring a new/specific technique.
