    Scrap Country
    180cm x 210cm
Mikey's Nine Patch from Traditional Block Quilts published by Craft World Books

    Machine pieced and hand quilted
Made entirely from scraps and off cuts and recycled clothing bought at garage sales and op shops. It's mostly poly/cotton with some 100% cotton eg. the three shirts, plain pink, blue striped and pink striped. The dark blue came from a recycled dress with a full skirt.
I know it's not perfect and I have some joins in funny places and I now know about not cutting outside triangles on a bias, plus many other things, but I sure did enjoy this project and it has got me hooked on quilt making!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really like the way you hand stitched every square. It is so pretty!

You did a great job! Let alone your first quilt and hand quilted to boot.

I love the pastels with the blue centers.
