EXCELLET work. Your corners all match, your squares are very square and your backing is straight as a pin. You are a fast learner with a definate eye for color. You'll mke lots of wonderful quilts.

This taggie quilt was for my daughter that was just born (I finished it just in time!). I am doing another taggie quilt using the brown bear brown bear fabric for my sister-in-law who is due with her second. And I just started an online block of the week... oh yeah, I caught the bug bad!

find something to play around with - place mat or some old scraps.

You did a great job on your first quilt. I can't believe you already jumped in to FMQ too and it looks very nice.

Also, did you use a pattern and if so, what pattern is it. I really like it and would like to try one too - it's really a cute one.

Jackie- Since this was my first attempt I decided to go with a kit. The initial quilt was designed by Katie Hennagir of Katie Hennagir Designs and I bought it and the fabric at baywindowquiltshop.com. I added a couple of extras like the boarders on the front and the back, along with some extra taggies and ribbons.
