My very first quilt

I saw this pattern in a quilt magazine and wanted to try making it for my first grand baby. My daughter in law loves elephants and lavender so I went with a couple different shades of lavender plus some white. Not only have I never made a quilt before but I also never did any applique work so this was a first for me, all around.

You done a fantastic job for your first try. Not only making the quilt, but the applique too. You do have the talent for quilting. Keep up the good work.
