That is an unbelievable first quilt, what more can I say, everyone else has already said it all. It looks professional and award winning.

I can't wait to see what your second quilt looks like.

Well ladies i entered my blue roses quilt in the local fair just hoping I would win some kind of a little ribbon. and just look what it won. If those judges only knew that I can't cut 2 squares of fabric the same size, lol!

more than i had ever dreamed of winning

WAY TO GO! Not many people win that many ribbons with their first quilt.

Congratulations - great job. I assume one of the big ribbons is a Best of Show - what is the other one?

thank you all. the pink one was my first quilt, the blue one that won the ribbons was my second quilt - same design just different colors. i gave the pink one to my daughter for a wedding gift. the 2 blue ribbons are First Place from 2 different judges. And the red, white & blue big ribbon is Best in Division by a 3rd judge. That's the way they explained it to me - the ladies that work the fair. anyhow, I was pleased as punch. After I pick it up from the fair this coming sunday, it will be hanging on display at the Bobbin Box. That's where I bought all my stuff to make it and where I took quilting classes. But thank you all again for your kind words.
