Beautiful !!! Beautiful !!! What an encouragement to me that I maybe I'll still be able to make a first quilt too. My Mom would have loved it!!!

I started quilting at the ripe old age of 64 after 1 year and am still not in your league! I enjoy my retirement hobby - although I have yet to make a full sized quilt - crib/lap size are the largest. I love to play with variations - and usually design my own - just because I have followed by the rules for too many years and want to fall outside the "limits". BUT I must say, that your first quilt looks so professional and mine are obviously by an amateur! JEALOUS is my name! Scrappy is my usual game!

WOW! Double WOW!! This is so beautiful! I'm sure it'd be a blue ribbon winner if you entered it in a competition.

As for not starting sooner, it's never too late to learn! Keep on sewing!
