I have been a busy girl today. I finally finished my snowman quilt "Winter Wonderland" and my kitty cat quilt. I also did a table topper that I just have to quilt and bind. I will do that tomorrow and then post a pic. "Winter Wonderland" was started about 10yrs ago. He is appliqued and hand-stitched with a blanket stitch. I only had to do the borders and now to send it off to be quilted.

The other quilt is my kitty cats done in brights. I found the pattern in a Quiltmaker magazine from 2005. Don't remember what month off the top of my head. The kitties were paper-pieced. It too just needs to be quilted. I hope you like them. Every quilt I have ever made, I have given away...these are MINE!!!

Your snowman is fantastic! He makes me wish for snow and a need to wear mittens and hot cocoa! Absolutely adorable!

Wonderful quilts, both of them. The snowman one has so much going on and you did a really nice job on the applique. The kitty quilt is so cute, now I want to make one!

    Love that snowman!

Inquiring minds 'need' to know, where did you get the pattern for him?

    Great quilts!
I am always revved up & ready to quilt like a mad woman. Then I find myself over thinking my projects & don't get as much done as I could have if I'd just sit down & DO IT!!
    Thanks for sharing.

Your kitty quilt is wonderful as is the snowman one. Sometimes you just can't keep just 'one'.. Good for you for keeping them for yourself. We need to be reminded we are special too.
