    My weekend quilt

I needed a quick quilt. I thought about a rail fence. I decided to get creative. I made my strip sets and then put them on point. I really like how it turned out. I started it yesterday and finished the binding this morning. It is quilted with simple leaves and loops.

Very pretty!! I love how the middle fabric is the same as the borders so only the outside strips pop. Great look!!

Love the pastel colors. Did you stop to eat or sleep? I would have a hard time finishing anything in a weekend. Lovely quilt. So springy.

I spent 4 hours on it on Sat. Finished the blocks, put the top together and spray basted. I quilted it and did the machine binding Sunday. That took longer than putting the quilt top together. I have to put on a label today.
    It was fun and fast.
    Happy Quilting.

The blocks are 9 inches finished. The strips were cut 3 1/2. The quilt is 48x54 but would be easy to make bigger.

My kind of colors and and the on point setting gives it a great twist. A very attractive quilt with added bonus of how quickly you were abel to finish. Great work!
