Thread: My Wisteria basket quilt

    I finished this last week. It had been done for nearly 2 yrs. Sitting in the closet waiting for me to do a scalloped border. But I was so scared to cut it. Finally did it, it wasn't too bad once I started. I like wisteria and have it as wallpaper in the bedroom, so this matches really well. Also have wisteria growing outside :!:

    :shock: :shock: Very beautiful!!! I love your wisteria! I have it in the yard too...love the look and the smell! I bet your bedroom even smells good with that quilt in it.

    I love wisteria, but hubby doesn't like it, bc it's hard to contol. Love the smell. That is one beautiful quilt. I couldn't see the scalloped border, my monitor colors are too dark, but I bet it's beautiful.
    It's funny, but I have kept fabric that I loved, and was waiting for more experience, or confidence, before cutting it. funny. maybe smart. :D

    wisteria is my favorite (besides dogwood blossoms) and i always try to schedule my spring trips back south for prime wisteria smelling! Love your quilt!!!

    I agree the heavy, honey flowery smell is very exotic. The bees love it too though.
    Your quilt is just lovely and all the work is beautiful. I am glad you finally decided to finish the scalloped edge and get it onto your bed. Nice work!
