What a great find. I have one like it made with scraps form my mother, mother-in-law and myself. It is such a wonderful memory quilt. I just love it.

I love it..just like those scrappy quilts. About 25 yrs ago I bought a pieced top (small wedding ring pattern), the color
was predominately orange..which would have not been my
choice. Got it at an antique shop..paid $20. Decided it was
worth that ..orange or not. When I got it home realized it
must have been pieced by someone elderly because I basically
had to re-hand stitch the whole thing. It was pretty neat tho
once it was quilted. I just didn't know I had bargained for that
    much work,ha.

I get so frustrated hearing about all the great yardsale finds. All I ever find is JUNK!!! So happy you rescued this treasure. Please post the finished project so we can all enjoy.
