    Mystery Quilt

I made this Mystery Quilt from one of my quilt groups I really like the pattern but I'm still nopt liking the color combo I picked. I didn't realize picking fabrics was going to be so hard for a sight unseen pattern. But it turned out pretty good I guess if you like green. Now for the quilting part.

I love it, but do agree that on mysery quilts a lot of the time I would have chosen differently had I know what the pattern was going to be. But then guess that's half the fun

Cute pattern--I agree, it's hard to pick fabrics for mystery quilts. Then, when I realize I'm not in love with it, I put it on the back burner (shame on me).

It is great to hear I am not the only one who finds mystery quilts difficult. I did one that turned out okay but the colour placement made my pattern disappear. I love green so I love your mystery top!

Interesting arrangement of the colors to create the design. Makes it look very complex and modern while I suspect it was actually fairly simple to do.

Beautiful and refreshing in greens! Was the border pattern part of the mystery quilt or something you added?

I love green! I think it is pretty, but have never done a mystery for just that reason. I can't imagine picking colors when I don't know where they will end up.

Very interesting pattern. I happen to love green so if you aren't happy with it I'll take it off your hands!

Glad to hear I am not the only one with hesitations about mystery quilts. I just opted out of one as we are also doing a block of the month quilt, which is a mystery, too, since, you only get one block at a time. Yours turned out very nicely!
