    Natalie's Mystery Quilt...quilted by Charisma

Natalie sent me this quilt for LAQ.
I was stumped for a couple weeks. I couldn't think of how to quilt it. It was so soft and sweet ....all the beautiful 3 Sisters fabrics...I pulled it out ..studied it...thought about it.....studied it.

Sometimes this happens to me....(well all the time)...usually on my own quilts...( well some of them).

I knew I wanted to bring out her chain ..she had chosen a very light color that kind of blended in with her background color..I knew I could highlight those with quilting to make them stand out a bit more. I used Continuous Curves on teh chain...those petals or clam shells in the background....little feathers in each corner..block work.

Natalie doesn't know the name of this pattern...it was a mystery quilt she made years ago and didn't love it until now..YAY!

Thanks for looking! We apprecaite that!

I'm the "piecer" of this quilt and it is Charisma's craftsmanship that has gotten me excited about it after all these years. Thanks Charisma. Some of us are technicians and we need an artist to strengthen a missing element to our quilts and that is Charisma's gift. "How'd she do that?" She's an artist and her element is thread and design.

    Greatly appreciated,
