    I used the free pattern available at Three Dudes Quilting: Flowers of the Sun. Made a few adjustments to size (so the finished HSTs were 6" -- that way I could use my Accuquilt Go cutter). I added the rows of flying geese top and bottom to make it rectangular (and a bit longer). I also had to miter the corners of the outer border, due to the design of that fabric.

    And yes, my DDIL does love it!

    Gorgeous colors, and I think you did a pretty good job on the quilting. I'm just getting around to playing with FMQ, after beginning quilting this past January. It can be intimidating! lol
