Am just learning to machine quilt and this was great to practice with my walking foot and some free motion. I hope my DBIL and family will enjoy this!

I love that Nativity wall hanging. I did one for our pastor and his wife day before yesterday.

It went surprisingly well. The biggest goof-up was that I made a place to slip a dowel rod through on the back piece to hang it with before I put it together and then FMQ'ed right over it!
I was a tad reluctant to start the FMQ...but once I got going it went nicely. It sure went faster than doing all the outline stitching.

I found it at Hobby Lobby at 50% off. They also had some beautiful matching backing fabric with it.

Yes - Jesus is the the reason!...I went looking for a panel like this and was thrilled to find this one so easily. It also came with "extra" material which has several of the figures copied on it...you were "Supposed" to glue that material on some interfacing type of thing and make it kind of 3-dimensional. I like it the way I did it much better...PLUS...now I have the extra goodies to use as applique to make another panel!!!! YAY!
