Default Nature prints finally in a quilt.

Bought these fowler, birds, and butterfly panels several years ago. Finally took the plunge and put together a quilt to use them up. As much as I loved the nature prints, the panels were a real pain to use as they were not printed square. I did not do justice by them, but at least I finally used them. After the long busy summer, it was good to get back to piecing and fmq, although there were more than a few times that I felt I had to relearn everything!

Cute quilt! I find my FMQcan get rusty if I don’t keep at it.

It’s beautiful. Love those nature panels. I’d say you certainly did them justice.

Looks like perfect justice with the quilt blocks design you made. The patchwork blocks certainly enhance the panel blocks. Great finish!

Your quilt is lovely. Nice use of the nature prints and I love the flow of the blocks that border them. I know what you mean about FMQ. Every quilt it feels like something new like I have never done it before.

That is my #1 gripe with panels, they aren't printed straight!! Your solution was perfect and I can't tell you enough how much I like the colors and pattern you used.
