You certainly did do them justice...you did a wonderful job. I'd like to know why designers are dedicated to making panels so difficult to work with. I've used several in quilts and have never had to go through such mental gymnastics as when using them!! I think we quilters need to put a bug in the manufactureres's ears about this...no excuse for the difficulties in working with these lovely designs.

The machine setting on the little table is a Singer 66 (Redeye) that had ben converted to a hand crank. It works great, and although iI didn't use it for the panel quilt, I did make a simple baby donation quilt with it over the summer. Yes, it is part of my decor and is on display all the time. I could share quilt a few phots of "decor" in my home as the vintage machine bug hit me several years ago, and I love them all: Featherweight, Singer 301A, 401, and Rocketeer, to name a few!
