It really looks good after it was quilted. I bound it with the yellow plaid. Take my word for it, matching plaid for binding is hard; however, it looked gorgeous. I managed to get the thin brown stripe on the front of the quilt binding. When I got to the end of the binding strips to join them, I only missed having a perfect match all around by less than 1/4". What can I say, I'm a Virgo and sometimes I do these silly things.
