Yes, they are all silk. I checked them over for stains, but I did not wash them first. I am going to be making more plates, just like this one. Although, I think I'm going to use the idea of putting a red colored tie in the center.Originally Posted by jbj137

I really like it-it has a lot of character. I wouldn't decide on a background color until you have more blocks made. I think you will like it better when finished.
