    This is beautiful. If you are just plain tired of it, go with the suggestion of 9 inch dark all around it. It will make the center pop. Lay it out and see how it looks. In my mind it looks petty good. :)

    However....I also like your narrow light blue and then dark blue...

    Try all kinds of things. One will "speak to you," or at least that is the phrase my sister always uses at me. :)

    I do it with bordering - three at least of varying sizes to total your 9".....

    Don't get discouraged NOW, it's a beautiful start to a beautiful quilt. Set it aside for a while, it's worth finishing nicely not just to get finished.
