    This looks so great. Sorry but you need to do the HST around the quilt. An 18inch border just wouldn't look right. I think you could use the light blue as a stop border and then go to the dark border, but stick to the darker colour for the HST. Maybe you need a break from it. Put it aside for a week or two before you tackle it again. It's going to be fantastic.

    I would do a small(1") inner border and the dark outer border 4". :-)

    Your quilt is BEAUTIFUL! My own choice would be the narrow light blue with a wider dark blue border, possibly narrower for the light, and wider for the dark. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

    I have learned from this board thad borders should just about always be dark. And I agree. The dark border frames the block better. It shows the block more than the border. See you soon. - maybe. How's the river?? is it behaving itself?? :?

    Thanks for the info hun! The river is behaving for the most part. Your hubs moved your trailer a bit further from the rising water, "just in case" Said he was too old to deal with middle of the night emergencies. LOL
