    There is a book called Red White and Sometimes Blue that has some fantastic red and white quilts in it

    Do try a Disappearing 9 patch. So many ways to arrange the pieces after you slash...makes several very interesting blocks. Google DNP and get the free pattern. Show us pics.

    Do a QAYG Rail Fence! That would be really pretty. My sister is going to do one for her son in reds and blues!

    Hunter's Star was my first choice but it depends on your comfort Zone. A Double or Triple Irish Chain is not too difficult. Good Luck and keep us posted.

    I have seen this schoolhouse done in white with red houses it was fabulous...they quilted it in red...it was almost reversible after the quilting :)
