That's funny but not sure how to make the tail a loop or a straight piece? Would I put it between the top and bottom then put on the other boarders????
Make the tail seperate and add it when you sew on the borders. Just put two pieces of tiger material right sides together and draw a tail pattern (but make it the same size as the border to begin with) then make it a curl or straight or whatever. Sew on your drawn line clip turn and stuff then just add the end in when you sew on the borders.

YES they are applique.
The pattern is

Here is what I am thinking.
I have a mock up here.
I thought I would put the sky and on the bottom sand. One the sand I will applique big tiger paws on each side of LOGAN. I will use tiger print fabric for name and paws or I can use black??? Then use sashing fabric for boarders or not have boarders???
If I use the tiger print for name and paws I may put in a tail. Too much going on???
