I have never seen this lovely pattern. A block like it can be found in block base under ...star within a star and it's called, Calico Stars. I think your quilt is an orginal design. She could have used a star block and exploded it for the dimension and added the rays and the southwest design around it.

Looks like all the pieces are appliqued! If so, it souldn't be too hard to duplicate. I would even resort to a photocopier for some of the triangular pieces (adding the seam allowance if you were going to needle turn it.

Great looking quilt.
