This baby quilt is going together quickly and I need some ideas on how to finish it. Should I add half squares around the edges to make the sides a straight line or should I put the half squares and then a border? Or should I just finish it with the angular sides? The centers are baby critters in a berry patch, the outside rows are garden vegetables and material I received from my Secret Santa. Help please I need to have it done after this weekend.

Denise, I like the triangles on the sides, then I think I might put a small border (maybe 3") of the brown check and then bind it. Just an idea for you.

It sure is cute--I love your fabrics!! Be sure to show it again when you finish it.

I think leaving then angles would look really neat! It would definately be different from anything else. But then again, I'm a big fan of different:)

gcathie, Did you mean something like this? I do not have enough of the brown checked to make borders. I toyed with the idea of leaving the points on the side, but thought they were too deep. The quilt is a baby shower gift.
